PIT Face-to-Face Meeting March 2026

    Our HLIS PIT team completed yet another successful face-to-face (F2F) meeting throughout March 9-13th, 2026, hosted by our excellent members and collaborators at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. This meeting was more than the usual HLIS PIT F2F meeting; in addition to our own PIT members, several members of the Roman Supernova (SN) PIT also attended, participated, and gave presentations at the meeting. Throughout the week, HLIS and SN PIT members presented lectures, engaged in discussions, shared resources, and connected ideas. Some highlights from the science-focused week are highlighted below. 

PIT Participation in Arizona Cosmology Winter School

January 21st, 2026

Between January 12th and 15th, 2026, the University of Arizona’s Cosmology Lab hosted the “Arizona Winter School on Multi-Probe Cosmology in the Roman ST Era,” in collaboration with the Roman Science Collaboration and the Roman project. The Roman-focused school covered topics relevant to the work of the HLIS PIT, and many PIT members participated in this event as organizers, hosts, lecturers, and attendees. 



First face-to-face meeting

August 21st, 2024

Our first annual face-to-face team meeting was held at IPAC in Pasadena, California from Oct 7 - 9, 2024.


Team Selected by NASA!

July 5th, 2023

Our team was selected on July 5, 2023 by NASA as one of the 5 teams to build the analysis infrastructure for its upcoming Nancy Grace Roman mission. We are poised to explore the dark universe by observing the visible light from distant galaxies.
